My name is Anas Youssef, and I am communicating with you from Gaza with a heart full of hope and asking for your support.
The war that started in Gaza turned my life upside down. Despite our best efforts to stay safe, my family and I were caught in the crossfire, enduring unimaginable hardship. For 70 days, we faced a relentless siege, struggling without food, medicine or water.
On the 71st day, our lives changed radically. The army took me, destroyed my house, and detained my family for 41 days, during which I was subjected to severe torture. After my release, I found myself in the south of the Gaza Strip, and my family was also forced to flee so that we could stay together. The conflict is still raging, making our future uncertain.
I am now 18 years old, a refugee without a home or a future, and I want to raise money to spend on my family. I am reaching out to you with an urgent request: please support my campaign for my own. Your generous donation will help me secure the means to travel, and most importantly, it will save my family from hunger and provide them with food.
